Finally!!! My immediate reaction to this meaningless accomplishment (to the general public) A sense of relief, satisfaction from something as trivial as a rock climb? This is climbing though right? I all too often associate my self worth with redpoint ability compared to others; unhealthy. Having a 4yr long project started taking a toll on me mentally considering I had gotten through all the hard moves and every time I went back I just couldn't. I would throw myself at it and get so demoralized because I couldn't fathom why I wasn't able to make it past previous highpoints. Trying to get to a healthy mental space with the goal being able to just enjoy the process. Of course I can't dismiss my faithful partners for following me to the boulders for these last 4yrs to watch me flail 💩 Climber: 5'6 (-1 ape index) Area: Slow Dance Cave, Happy Boulders, Bishop, California
