Definitely my proudest send this season! After a long few COVID years and feeling pretty weak, I'm excited to be pushing into redpoint max grades. This was session . I gave myself limited burn attempts on previous days so we could still climb in different areas and on new lines. On the last day I had all my beta dialed, but my strength was not 100% ~ after all, we had been 4 days on. Despite all this, I took a long rest after warming up on the boulder, and gave it all I had. Normally, I never swing my left foot after grabbing the arete fin, nor did I use the RH crimp going to the finishing jug. On the send go I really had to pull on every intermediate, fighting for every hold. Climbing is hard!
