This is one of the earlier US morale boosting numbers that started to emerge shortly after America's entry into ww2. It was set to the tune of "American Patrol" which was a very popular swing number at the time. Fairly clear and to the point, I would have thought. This female singing group must surely have raised quite a bit of necessary interest and patriotism.
