I was so excited when Alex from Curiosity Inc had a Youtube video showing items that came in that day. There was a box of Vintage Sewing Patterns and I had to have some. Yes, you can buy patterns on Vintage Pattern sites, but these were $5 each, which is my cap for buying pre loved patterns and they were Vintage, from the 1940's and 1960's. Even though I wanted the entire box, my budget was only big enough for 20 of them, and I think I got some fab patterns. I sew for fun, the size might not be mine, but I'll sew it anyways just to experience the pattern concept. I'm also learning how up grade up, as most patterns from this time frame are slim. All items used are second hand purchases, the patterns, the fabric, the lining, the zippers, the buttons. Although I do buy new threads, as old threads do weaken over time, but I must say I have found some new to me threads in bundles at second hand stores as well. I made this a two part video, as I'm not sure how much rambling one can take of me drooling over my patterns.
