wrestlingscout's video: Lucha Libre Pro-Wrestling in Mexico

@Lucha Libre (Pro-Wrestling in Mexico)
This video is a little overview of "lucha libre" (pro-wrestling in Mexico) including the notable personalities who became mythical figures. Lucha libre is a distinct brand of pro-wrestling with their signature masks, unique larger-than-life personas, blend of fast-paced highflying and matwork and use of trios (6-man) matches. What put lucha libre over the top however was the popularity of lucha movies and comics starring characters such as El Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras and other legendary luchadors. The opening video features El Santo using his La de a Caballo on Cavernario Galindo. This first segment focuses on the first fifty years of lucha libre (specifically the success version popularized by Salvador Lutteroth in EMLL aka La Empresa). The music is "Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" and the luchadors featured include (in alphabetical order): Charro Aguayo, Perro Aguayo, Anibal, Angel Blanco, Black Shadow, Blue Demon, Bobby Bonales, El Canek, Emilio Charles Sr., Coloso Colosetti, El Corbarde, Alfonso Dantes, Dory Dixon, Dos Caras, Espectro I, Tres Espantos, El Faraon, Fishman, Cavernario Galindo, Humberto Garza, El Gladiador, Gran Markus, Great Goliath, Gory Guerrero, Rene Guajardo, Black Guzman, El Halcon, Dientes Hernandez, Rueben Juarez, Karloff Lagarde, Bobby Lee, Enrique Llanes, Lizmark Sr., Tarzan Lopez, Jose Lothario, Mata Hermanos (Carlos & Raul), Medico Asesino, Ray Mendoza, Ringo Mendoza, Mil Mascaras, El Nazi, Jack O'Brien, Pantera Negra, Gorila Ramos, Huracan Ramirez, Rayo de Jalisco, Raul Reyes, Rito Romero, Sangre Chicana, El Santo, Satanico, Scorpio Sr., Firpo Segura, Sugi Sito, El Solar, El Solitario, Tinieblas, El Trio Dinamita (Cien Caras, Mascaras Dos Mil & Universo Dos Mil), Dr. Wagner Sr., Diablo Velaszco, Rolando Vera, Yaqui Joe **I understand I left out many people and perhaps included others too much. I am an amateur pro-wrestling historian and amateur videographer. Please view my website if you'd like to access more information about lucha libre and its practitioners. I'd also like to thank to vibrant English-speaking lucha community including: Al Esparza, cubsfan, Kris Z, José Fernández, Robert Bihari, David Bixenspan and "Dr. Lucha" Steve Sims**
