This song is from the 1961 movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's". It is sung by Audrey Hepburn, who wasn't considered a great singer and so the song got almost cut out from the film. Audrey managed to save the song from being cut by saying "over my dead body" once she recieved the news about it. The song is about an actual river in Savannah, Georgia. The composer of the song grew up around there. The song is basically a retrospective of the composers childhood. Anyways, I think that this song is one of the most beautiful things ever. Audrey sings it so beautifully and everytime i hear it, i just fall in love over and over again.
