xRawesomex's video: Sword of Omens - The Push RIP

@Sword of Omens - The Push (RIP)
Dear fans, It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that we all lost a member of The PKMN Split today. Tyler, better known here as Sword of Omens, passed away earlier today, September 10, 2018. We offer his family and friends our deepest condolences. Tyler joined The PKMN Split almost exactly 7 years ago when we were still in our infancy. He wrote and collaborated on a myriad of songs, and contributed to the split with his masterful ballads and tasteful melodies. He was always appreciative of constructive criticism, and over his tenure in the Split wrote some of the catchiest songs I've ever listened to. His love and his passion for music carried over into the real world and not just writing electronic music. This song stood out to me. He wrote it about his struggles and I wanted to share it with you all here. Many of us lost contact with Tyler, but not too long ago he reached out to me to tell me he appreciated working together on the Split. You will be missed, Tyler. Rest easy. With much love, The musicians of The PKMN Split Tyler's original description: "It's been requested by my Tully Hull buddies that I upload this in some form or fashion. I had an 'assignment' in Tully to write a song to let go of my drug of choice. not my best take, but is my song, 'The Push'. gives a glimpse of the regression and progression of my recent heroin addiction. please enjoy. ps - for those still sick and suffering, all I hope is that you can relate and maybe inspire you to help yourself. thank you for listening" Lyrics: Life seems stagnant when you're gone Though you drown out all my insecurities It feels sober/wrong Couldn't tell you the last time I wanted something more This perpetual ghost hunt Is nothing but a chore The push, the chase The rush, the taste I watched the sunshine through the rain The fall, the way They call my fate Soon enough I'll be completely drained Trying to weigh out my options With the thought of adopting My newfound rationale They asked me "Why can't you stop it?" If I could, I would have dropped it Long ago The push, the chase The rush, the taste I watched the sunshine through the rain The fall, the way They call my fate Soon enough I'll be completely drained I tried to give it up I try to give it up I try to give it up Like I always do I try to give it up I try to give it up I couldn't give it up If you asked me to I try to give it up I try to give it up But I always do I try to give it up I couldn't give it up If you asked me to Just let me through
