forgot to add that I managed to get samples of the HGSS gameboy 8 bit sounds used in the gameboy player. I tested them out on this tune from the pokemon firered hack liquid crystal. 1/18/2015 I know I won't get around to uploading a video of how I got the 8 bit sounds so I will try to explain it in words. So I took a midi, set the tempo to 100. Next I took a whole note and placed it on c5 for each measure. So ill say there are 4 beats in a measure. It will look something like this 1---2---3---4---. For each measure, I took a c note and made it play for the whole measure by itself and I repeated it for about 50 measures or so. Next, I did an instrument change starting from measure 1 to midi instrument 1, measure 2 to midi instrument 2, measure 3 to midi instrument 3 and so on. After inserting it to the Suicune battle theme for the gameboy sounds, it played each 8 bit instrument perfectly. I then recorded the midi being played by the emulator and placed the mp3 into fl studio. After that I trimmed each sample to a good wav sample so I can make an instrument out of it later on. After doing this for about 50 instruments, I put them into a sound font creator, looped them, and exported them to sf2. It was a lot of work and it is a shame I do not have them anymore since my old computer crashed. I was not able to save anything from it. All I have now is an iPad mini with Music Studio 2.
