years1hundred's video: Star Citizen Adventure AMV - Norwegian Pirate

A fan-made, action and drama-oriented music video tribute to Star Citizen, using the song Norwegian Pirate by Two Steps From Hell. :) Please consider liking and/or subscribing if you enjoyed this! :D As a kid, Star Wars blew my mind. The endless depths of space, the rugged beauty of the sci-fi frontier, and the ability for anyone to do anything - these concepts expanded my horizons and inspired a lot of what I've done since. Other similar inspirations included Firefly, Treasure Planet, Titan A.E., the X-Wing series of space sims, the Escape Velocity series, and more. But what really truly captivated my imagination was the game Freelancer. Edison Trent's story, or rather, the fact that it never ended, totally and completely dominated my imagination, and led to me wishing I could grow up to be a free agent in the depths of space. So imagine my incredible disappointment when I learned that Freelancer 2 had been shot down before it could even begin. I was really let down, and I kinda drifted halfheartedly from one mediocre space sim to the other until this Summer. This Summer, in late July, I found out about Star Citizen. I have no clue how I missed it up to that point, but after watching the trailers and hearing about Chris Roberts' vision, I was immediately sold. Recently, Cloud Imperium Games launched a contest in which people with 3D modeling experience could make their own ship. I was really sad, as such a competition is far over what I could ever hope to do, so I decided to contribute to the Star Citizen universe (or The Verse, as Citizens like to call it) in my own way. I hope you enjoyed watching this as much as I loved making it! And thank you so much to the people who test piloted the initial video and gave me tonnes (ha) of feedback on it!
