Although it may seem an oddity today, back when the TV tuner for the Game Gear became available in 1991 it provided a cheaper means to watch colour TV on the go than buying a portable colour TV. An overview of the TV tuner will be presented followed by examples of connecting a Dreamcast to the TV tuner first using the copmmosite input and then the RF input.
