zakid's video: Blinded by Light Final Fantasy XIII arr Yui Morishita - piano transcription

Composed by Masashi Hamauzu Arranged by Yui Morishita I decided to give this a shot, it was a decently challenging transcription. I tried to review this more than usual, as with a piece that requires this level of virtuosity any inaccuracy could make it so much harder to play. Usually when I transcribe I play bits of the piece on the piece to see if anything sounds out of place, the problem with this piece is that there is no way in hell I was able to replicate any of this a tempo lol. So i listened to this A LOT, I wanted to make sure I get the most technical parts right and I do think these should be decently spot-on in the transcription. What definitely helped is that Morishita is a fantastic pianist and even at this tempo his articulation is crystal clear and a lot of the notes/runs are easy to pick out. Having the video also helped in a few spots to confirm what chord is being played (though I do think these recordings are edited at times). All in all I am very happy with the result, I'm sure there are some inaccuracies here and there, but nothing that should make it sound too out of place.
