Mohammed Abdul Aziz's video: Milad Un Nabi SAWS in Hyderabad 2011 - P3 Shirk O Bidaat

@Milad Un Nabi SAWS in Hyderabad 2011 - P3 (Shirk O Bidaat)
- And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad PBUH) {Surah 25 - Part 19 - Ayah 27} - "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a Khalil (an intimate friend)! {Surah 25 - Part 25 - Ayah 28} - And the Massenger (Muhammad PBUH) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my peoply deserted this Quraan (neither listened to it nor acted on its laws and teachings) {Surah 25 - Part 25 - Ayah 30} - Milad-Un-Nabi SAWS in Hyderabad (Shirk O Bidaat) - The best man to walk on the face of earth was indeed Muhammad (PBUH), the man who was given revelation from Allah subhana wa ta'ala, completed his job and Allah revealed the ayah upon him that He (azza wajal) completed and perfected the religion and chosen islam as a religion. And sahabaa witnessed all this. they never celebrated the birthday of Muhammad (PBUH) and they were never ordered to do so. My question to all those who believe in celebrating the maulid is if you truly love Muhammad (PBUH) then follow his commandments the way sahaba did. You will never be able to compete with sahaba if you believe you are doing something better then them. Authenticity of Milad 12th Rabi-ul-awal of the Arabic calendar is the day on which our beloved Prophet Muhammed (Peace and Blessings be upon him) was born, according to all-time famous historian Allama Ibn-e-khaldun. Prophet clearly said that he was born on Monday, It was narrated from Abu Qutaadah al-Ansaari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah PBUH was asked about fasting on Mondays. He said, "On that day I was born and on that day the Revelation came to me." (Narrated by Muslim, 1978). Milad means the day of birth in Arabic language. Now we have to find out that, did the Prophet PBUH celebrated his birthday or did his Sahaba (Prophet's best followers ) celebrated Prophet's birth or did any one amongst the salaf us saleheen (rightegeous) celebrated it? History does not substantiate any instance advocating celebration of Prophet's Birthday. Hence it is very clear that neither did the prophet celebrate his birthday nor did the Sahaba (his companions) celebrate it. Allah SWT says in his holy Quran "And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)" [al-Hashr 59:7] And the Prophet PBUH said: "I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah [way] and the way of the Rightly-Guided khaleefahs. Adhere to it and cling tightly to it. And beware of newly-invented matters [in religion], for every newly-invented matter is an innovation and every innovation is a going-astray." (Narrated by Abu Dawood, al-Sunnah, 3991; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood, no. 3851). This tradition of Prophet PBUH points to us three vital things • Prophet PBUH urged his ummah to adhere to his path • And to adhere to the path of rightly guided khaleefahs (his companions) • And beware of bidah (inventing new matters into the religion) In the year 624 Hijrah (Arabic calendar) the practice of celebrating Milad started. This was established by Sultan Abu Saeed Muzaffer. In his Court there was an alim (religious scholar) by name Abul Khattab ibn Dahiya, he wrote a book supporting the celebration of Milad for which he was awarded 1000 dirhams as a token of appreciation for his work by the Sultan (the ruler). Most of the religious scholars say that Abul Khattab ibn Dahiya was a liar of the highest order hence his works are not trusted by most of the scholars. [Ibn Kathir in Al Bidayah wan Nihayah, Volume 13, Page No. 137]. This indicates that observance of Milad is an innovation which emerged 600 years after Prophet PBUH. Is this not a serious matter to be pondered upon??? So much to so that modern day Milad celebration is far from all that is desired of a Muslim gathering. They include in these gatherings haraam and reprehensible things, such as free mixing of men and women, singing, or committing actions of shirk such as seeking the help of the Prophet PBUH, calling upon him, seeking his support against their enemies. Late night Milad programs cause hindrance in offering Fajr prayers. Additionally, people think that attending these gatherings bring them rewards and source of blessing, and remaining absent attributes to sin, and label the absentees as 'enemies of the prophet'. Lets remember our Prophet PBUH on this day and introspect ourselves that how close we are in following his sunnah and let we strive to become the followers like Sahaba (beloved companions of Prophet PBUH) Finally we should all resolve to abstain from such untoward innovation like Milad. Aameen.
