Golden প্রেমিকার মুখের মত চির যৌবনা এক উপন্যাস গডফাদার। প্রথম বার পড়ার চমক ও মুগ্ধতা হারিয়ে যাওয়ার ভয়ে দ্বিতিয় বার পড়ার দুঃসাহস অনেকেই না করলেও বইটি অবলীলায় কাছে টানে পাঠককে।লেখা অসাধারণ এবং উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ ছিল। খুব অল্প কথায় যদি দ্য গডফাদার সিনেমাটার প্রশংসা করতে হয় তবে আমি বলবো: দ্য গডফাদার হলো পৃথিবীর বিরল সেই সিনেমাগুলোর একটি যার কোথাও কোনো ছন্দপতন নেই। তা সে পরিচালনা, অভিনয়, সিনেমাটোগ্রাফি, অ্যাকশন, ডায়ালগসহ যে বিষয়ের কথায় বলা হোক না কেন। গডফাদারদের নিয়ে সিনেমা হলেও কোথাও কোনো ধুন্ধুমার অ্যাকশন নেই। গডফাদার ছবিটি দেখে উপন্যাসটি সম্পর্কে সম্যক ধারণা পাওয়া অসম্ভব। এই উপন্যাসটি সুদীর্ঘ কিন্তু সুপাঠ্য। এই পুরো বইটি পড়ার সময় পাঠক অনেক বার বিস্মিত হবেন লেখকের কথা সাহিত্যের ধরণ দেখে। ‘এটা হবে একটা লাইফ টাইম এক্সপেরিয়েন্স।‘ Disclaimer- Some contents are used for an educational purpose under fair use.
