I spent a month to build the whole piece and I scratch built the orthodox church by mainly card & paper and a burnt out light bulb :) 這個情景的背景是設定在蘇聯城市, 勒熱夫(Rzhev) 近郊。東部戰線最残酷的戰鬥之一，"勒熱夫人肉戰"（Rzhev Meat Grinder）的發生地。蘇軍在1942年1月至1943年3月这次人肉戰中死傷人数高達100万。蘇軍一直失利,直到1943年初才扭轉戰局. 德軍為保實力開始收窄戰線及有限度後退. 代号 "水牛行動" (Operation Büffel). 我選定了這個時間與地点. 虛構了在1942年2月, 這輛德軍, 馬打II (Marder II)自行火炮坦克與部隊正埋伏在一所破難的東正教的教堂內。其間, 一個德軍發現了一個教堂的神職人員, 並將他驅趕。神職人員大叫並怒罵着: "這是罪孽!" (It's a sin!")--- 這句話亦是情景的主題。
