World's OLDEST LIVING PERSON! 116 years old and counting! (And there's even a few health tips about living to a ripe old age!) This is the remarkable Misao Okawa. Mrs. Okawa was born in Osaka, Japan, on March the 5th 1898, meaning she is currently 116 years of age and is the oldest verified person on earth. She attributes her long life span to eating sushi, getting at least 8 hours sleep a night, and knowing how to relax. She has also tried to stay physically active throughout her lifetime, including still doing leg squats at the age of 102. And she was in fact still able to walk until she was 110. Mrs. Okawa says the happiest moments of her life were her wedding day and the birth of her 3 children. Her husband died in 1931 and her two surviving children are 94 and 92.
