These are the kind of thoughts we have and yeah, of course we tried it! This project was a bit challenging and we learned a lot along the way. The idea was to embroider a jellyfish onto wood and add a splash of alcohol ink to give it a watercolor look. Why not just use watercolor, you ask? We didn't have any but we did have plenty of boozy inks! We tried to capture as much of the process and chaos as possible with the video but we had just shy of 5 hours of footage that we managed to cut down to 7 minutes. The end result is a really unique piece of wall art that looks cool in daylight and doubles as a nifty little night light.
