Billy Bolex's video: Morning Musume 4th Gen Debut

See Yossi, Rika, Nono and Aibon when they’d just joined Morning Musume as the group’s 4th Generation. In this 17-minute segment from “Idol wo Sagase,” we see them prepare for their concert debut in the “Morning Musume First Live at Budokan ~Dancing Love Site 2000 Haru~” concert on May 20, 2000. We see them arrive at Budokan and interact with the older members (very playfully) and meet the segment’s host, Rinne Toda, from Country Musume. We see them rehearse a little and perform in some concert clips, including “Happy Summer Wedding.” We also see Melon Kinenbi get interviewed and perform a little and we see a clip of Rinne Toda performing. Nono laughs a lot. What could be better? It’s amazing to see how fully formed the four were at such an early age.
