There were a few differences that surprised us, the mini has a sandwich dish that makes a great breakfast sandwich, and 4 smaller egg bite holders, the family version has 9 larger egg bite holders but no sandwich dish, although they do sell them separately, so I will be ordering a 4 pack of those for sure! We cooked some eggs with various added items like orange and red pepper, cheese and even bacon bits, using our organic eggs with some salt and pepper, the end results were fantastic in both units and we see this being an excellent addition to our keto meal preps.
