Round 9 of the iRacing Grand Prix Series was at Monza and the distance was 100% with 42C track temp which was not ideal but luckily I had experienced these temperatures in a previous session. Race Report: Qualifying: My lap was decent lost about 0.3 across the full lap but the conditions were very tricky (42C) and I was one of the only guys to get a fairly clean lap in. Race: I chose the 1 stop as I saw in WCS that is was the best strategy and it was proven here too even with the high track temp. Ricardo closed a lot in the last stint but just not enough I think if we did the same strategy he would have come out on top which is why I did not follow him into the pits. Tommy was too fast if I tried to stay with him my tyres would have died on lap 20 at a push.
