K2M Photography's video: Hicksville Fire Department House Fire - Bunker Lane 3-18-23

On the morning of Saturday, March 18th, 2023, the Hicksville Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Bunker Lane off Tiptop Lane. The first units on the road were advised by dispatch that multiple calls were being received reporting the fire including a member on scene. Wasting no time Hicksville Chief of Department Moskos [9301] transmitted a signal ten [working fire] and got the request for mutual aid underway. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with a heavily involved two-story Levitt style home. Firefighters attempted an interior attack; however, due to the significant amount of fire and rapidly deteriorating conditions switched to an exterior attack via multiple hand lines and the master stream of Hicksville Ladder 931. No one was home at the time of the fire and its cause is under investigation. At least one exposure sustained minor damage and the scene was placed under control just past the one hour mark.
