The Court Yard Hounds are the latest musical adventure for sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire, a side foray into some down-to-earth roots music for two artists best known as two-thirds of the platinum-selling superstars The Dixie Chicks. Focusing on their own original songwriting and putting their own sweet harmonies front and center, they take their country and bluegrass roots to plenty of charming and interesting places on their newest album Amelita. They made time to share some of the material live at the Gibson Texas Showroom while in town for ACL Festival 2013.
