NYU Shanghai's video: Heavenly Body by Choreography Performance Fall 2019

Dedicated to the remembrance of all those who lost their lives in the COVID-19 pandemic, six students participated in this dance for camera film, "Heavenly Body” under the guidance of Associate Arts Professor Aly Rose. “There is immense sadness and yet we find hope in our ability to share with each other, collaborate, and find new solutions to the challenges before us,” said Rose. “We decided on the name ‘Heavenly Body’ because the term connotes the motion of the planets in our universe, the celebration of the human form and its own uniqueness and diversity, and implies a soul and its divine origins. We express something eternal and ephemeral simultaneously.”
