Bandipur Tiger Reserve is located at Gundlupet in Chamrajanagar district of Karnataka and at a distance of about 80 kms from Mysore city.This park is a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve & the same is called as the Mudhumalai Tiger reserve on the other side of the state Tamil Nadu.One can book tickets either online or offline here.We booked online for a jeep safari on 26 July 2018 & it was full of fun & adventure .However we didn't get to see tigers but we saw many animals & birds like deers ,elephants ,wild dogs ,peacock, peahen ,eagle, monkeys, etc...
