Netlife's video: Godin Eco Burning gas POELE GODIN ECO 363102

@Godin Eco. Burning gas. POELE GODIN ECO 363102
No gas was harmed during the making of this film. Wood used: frein, 'oak-like', 3 years seasoning better than 2. Hetre, smooth bark, maybe ash, or elm, and Charmé, burns hot and fast, softer wood, seasons faster. The camera cut out due to heat, but I was going to say, the Supra's not in same league as the taller heavier Godin. It goes through wood faster.,, it can't hold as much heat. You can still buy the Eco new today. The cheapest I've seen 1,300 euros. Real world average price 1,500. They were 2,100 euros once. Increased choice and competition from pellet burners, heat pumps, and ever newer more exotic and efficient fires means prices have come down. The fact they still produce the model tells me they must have got something right. {edit, and 24 hours later after correcting the glass gasket, can really confirm it's a great fire) The model with ceramic tiles up the side (no opening side door), is still priced near 3K!) . I find the side door not really necessary.. it's an option, it could be useful,.. but really not worth it for me. Better to have than to have not though. I'm going to line the lower part of boht sides with firebrick - a couple of diy moulds, 200 high, width of firebox. The oven's nice. As well as giving out more heat from the gas flow, It acts as an insulator of sorts above the convexed or concaved, depending where you're looking at it from, cast iron baffle plate. Most of the heat and gas flows up the front of the fire above the door, under the oven, up the back of it, then over the top of it and out the 150mm hole. Quite a decent length of time the gas is in the stove. {edit 24hrs later - with the top-of-glass airflow back in operation, and the bottom draw closed completley, the flames are moving more up the back of the baffle plate: but I think it will be more balanced (front to back) when I fit the correct diameter glass gasket} With gas and electric prices rising again... I don't know why, pay for the covid™ crisis maybe.. someone's got to pay right, I mean it's not like the money they come up with just grows on trees. No it has to be paid for, and by god if we have to rack up energy costs, well that's just one way of doing it. We do need our Davos etc jets after all and if that means you paying more for your standing charge, thanks, and also, fukc you, signed, your government, now shut up and stop conspirin' with de theories. Of course it's a crisis, it's the worse crisis since Hitler was told he was a bad artist and then went on the rampage about it.
