Nikhil Autar's video: Isolation Sucks Tips to Get Through Social Distancing from a PRO

@Isolation Sucks. Tips to Get Through Social Distancing from a PRO.
I saw a healthy, young friend post how hard was to maintain. He's right. It DOES suck. But you CAN do it. And there are still many things you can and should do while staying away from people. More and more around the world, governments are making and more compulsary. but you can and should get some sun and walk around in your backyard, if you have one. Though it's not the best for the environment, you can go out for a drive, and I'd say it's worth it right now. You NEED to limit physical interactions for sure. But staying healthy is super important, and staying connected is HUGELY important for your mental health. Listen to your local health authorities as this is changing though, for sure, on exactly what you can and should do. In the second part - I go into why it's important, how young people are still at risk, and talk about how social distancing has helped in South Korea without completely shutting down the economy. The key? To test as many people as possible, and for the community to also respond, and stay in unless needed. Both of these need to happen simultaneously. But because they did it, they're getting less and less instances of COVID-19. It's an interesting case, and other factors are definitely also in play. But there's also evidence of social distancing working in the past. I talk about that more in here: NikhilAutar.com/coronavirus Thoughts on this? I think mental health is DEFINITELY important to maintain, and not something to mock during these times. And measures which allow you to do this should be encouraged, but if it comes to it, and people aren't listening or being reasonable... We need to . As I put this together, I think the UK has done this. Update on me - symptoms haven't gotten worse, still short of breath, but not coughing more or anything. Results of COVID-19 swab are pending. Hopefully I'll be alright though!
