Welcome to my youtube channel for my blog: https://OpenSourceDistilling.com The main goal of my youtube channel is to build a fully automated liquid management vodka still running on python code on a Raspberry Pi computer. All code and will be available on my github page and all equipment I use will be listed. I am not keeping anything to myself, and hopefully, some of you will be inspired to contribute. Maybe one of you have access to a 3D printer and we can get parts made and publish the SketchUp files to my blog for everyone to enjoy. One day I hope people will be able to build a still and download the parts that make automation possible. Although the channel's main purpose is home distilling automation, I will also be covering distilling, equipment, fermentation, and cider/all-grain beer brewing as well. I will be trying to improve on distilling traditions using the scientific method. There will be lots of trial and error, but with a little luck, and a lot of mistakes, we may just learn something and become better distillers along the way.
