I wanted to cover one offbeat place in Uttarakhand and hence we visited Lansdowne. We were there for just a night and in reality, wanted to figure out how this place is. We explored two places, the Tarkeshwar temple, which was empty when we visited it but is swarmed with devotees on festivals, and the Bhulla lake, which is in the heart of Lansdowne and a made-up garden. We left for Rishikesh directly after the sightseeing and reached our hotel by late evening. Next morning we had to leave for Mussoorie so we covered the Laxman Jhula.
