I ate like ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER for a day | Bodybuilding diet plan for 24 HOURS | I tried to eat like ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER for a day to see what happens So today I tried eating like Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of the GREATEST BODYBUILDING LEGENDS & bodybuilder overall in the world for 24 hours. So why did I decide to eat like Arnold Schwarzenegger for a day? Because not only was the response to my OG “I ate like x for 24 hours” video great, after my i only ate frozen food for 24 hours video - https://youtu.be/WTPrJ2uxx9Q a few of you had requested to go back to some of the OG style challenges & in particular the eating like a celebrity or sports start with a similar calorie goal as me for a day. Therefore, as I was scrolling through all your celebrity diet suggestions, I thought that bodybuilding hero Arnold Schwarzenegger would suit perfectly & I’m not talking about his new vegan full day of eating diet here, I’m talking about the complete Mr Olympia diet that Arnold Schwarzenegger followed back in his bodybuilding days to win all his competitions, build muscle & lose fat So we had the only eating frozen food for 24 hours as the last video so why not continue with another full day of eating with a twist for 24 hours. Correct, as far as I could find - https://bit.ly/2yWCaR1 when trying to gain muscle, lose fat & win bodybuilding competitions, Arnold Schwarzenegger is known for having an insanely strictly clean diet whereby he eats multiple times a day from purely clean whole foods like meat, fish, veggies & complex carbs while completely avoiding junk & fast food & the results show where Arnold Schwarzenegger managed to build his insane physique & win multiple bodybuilding shows which then lead him to becoming a global movie star too Correct, Arnold Schwarzenegger also likely followed this diet & training in the lead up to his multiple movie appearances where his physique had to be in top condition with lots of muscle & low bodyfat Arnold Schwarzenegger diet explained Arnold Schwarzenegger will wake up, drink water & down his first meal, breakfast which includes eggs bacon & oatmeal. For post workout Arnold Schwarzenegger states that protein is crucial for muscle growth & repair so will supplement with protein shakes too before then having his next meal which is usually red meat, vegetables, a sweet potato & some nuts. As far as snacks go, again Arnold Schwarzenegger’s choices are limited but he does seem to really like protein shakes &, as he eats so frequently anyway, doesn’t need much more to keep him going until his next big meal After his postworkout meal, Arnold Schwarzenegger next meal in my case dinner is again high protein but sticking to leaner protein sources like meat or fish with more vegetables & this time brown rice for carbs Finally before bed Arnold Schwarzenegger would have another high protein meal or snack of cottage cheese to help build muscle in his sleep as it’s high in whey protein & casein protein So I thought to myself, although I eat clean daily, why not substitute my staple meals with his & try to replicate the Arnold Schwarzenegger diet for 24 hours & eat big like a bodybuilding champion.
