Hi, in this video we can see how to make Beetroot kola Urundai in Tamil.This recipe was prepared by Santhosh Pradap in Cooku with Comali show telecasted on Vijay Television. BEETROOT KOLA URUNDAI | COOK WITH COMALI RECIPE INGREDIENTS Grated beetroot - 1 cup chopped coconut - ¼ cup onion - ½ small piece ginger garlic cloves - 5 green chillies - 2 poppy seeds - 1 tsp fennel - ½ tsp roasted gram - ¼ cup rice flour - 1½ tbsp salt oil METHOD OF PREPARATION 1.In a mixy jar take ¼ cup chopped coconut,½ onion,small piece ginger,5 garlic cloves,2 green chilies,1 tsp poppy seeds and ½ tsp Fennel.Grind them. 2.Powder ¼ cup roasted gram. 3.In a bowl take 1 cup grated beetroot and add the grinded coconut and powdered gram. 4.Add 1½ tbsp rice flour and required salt.Mix well. 5.Adjust the powdered gram to make to the correct consistency. 6.Heat some oil in a kadai.Make small ball shape beetroot and fry them in low to medium flame until it's well cooked and crispy.
