In an interview with Stuart Varney on Fox Business, Shiva Ayyadurai, a candidate for US Senate in Massachusetts for the 2018 election who seeks to run against Senator Elizabeth Warren, said progressives are fake fighters who want to manipulate the masses. "They pander, they manipulate the masses, and they create fights that do not exist and want to create big things," Ayyadurai said. "If you look at Dodd-Frank, it essentially destroyed 1,200 community banks. Obamacare destroyed thousands of local doctors. And if you go back to Sarbanes-Oxley, which the Democrats supported, they essentially destroyed many small businesses because of the regulations." Ayyadurai, who was born in India, said only a "real Indian" can beat a fake Indian. Warren once claimed she had Cherokee Indian heritage until it was discovered this was not true. Ayyadurai sent her a DNA test kit on her birthday this year but Warren returned it, unused. Ayyadurai said the stunt was not a gimmick. "Here's a woman who checked off the box who said she is Native American. This fortells a person who is a self-serving elitist, is willing to cut in line if she needs, is willing to promote policies, for example illegal immigration, so others can cut in line."
