Timmy May's video: The Providence Reel - Summer Tunes 2020

This is The Providence Reel. On a beautiful late summer day in 2020 a group of musicians gathered in a beautiful park on Conanicut Island overlooking the West Passage of Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, USA. The musicians are Tony Gutierrez on the violin, Timmy May on the guitar, Mimi Davis on the flute, Jack Wright on the accordion, and Debbie Spitznagel on the bodhran. The cameraman was Tommy Perrotti, who did a fine job capturing this pastoral musical moment. All of us are regular players at the Fastnet Sunday night session which has taken place every week since 2006 at the Fastnet Pub in Newport, RI. The pub session had to take a break starting in March 2020 due to the pandemic. We can't wait till life returns to normal, but in the meanwhile on beautiful days like this, we will continue to bring the music to life.
