Day 3 at Mandi Himachal Pradesh For this video, I was in Mandi Himachal Pradesh to shoot the International Festival of Shivratri - 2020. It was an awesome experience and got a lot know of information about this festival, town, people and their rituals. I must say I am really lucky and blessed to get some beautiful information and memories from mandi. Well after finishing the shoot of mandi Shobha yatra so-called JALEB in their local language, I decided to visit Rewalsar lake and Kuntisar lake. So I packed my bags and checked out of the hotel. Then I started my riding towards Rewalsar along with my friend. On the way we had brunch. We did see so many beautiful landscapes in the midway and after around 1.5 hrs of the ride and with only one stoppage for brunch we finally reached Rewalsar. But we decided to visit Kuntisar lake first which is again 7.9 KM far from Rewalsar lake. Lake was so calm and beautiful. At first sight, it just relaxed us and relieved us from all the stress and strain we had from the last few days of a busy schedule. This lake has a beautiful temple besides its bank and it was named after mother of Five Pandavas “ MAA KUNTI” - KUNTISAR. After sitting there for a while we decided to fly the drone to get aerial shots of valley and lake. Which you can see in the video. The wind was too high that time but still, we managed to get some good shots. Now after spending 1.5 hours there we decided to move back to Rewalsar lake. Rewalsar lake is beautiful too. the only difference we found between Rewalsar lake and Kuntisar is of people gatherings. Rewalsar had too much of people maybe because of easy reach and other cultural and religious temples or because of the Monasteries besides them. But anyhow, the view was awesome. I also flew the drone here.The wind was again high, but this chance I would have never got again. Taking the risk I took off my drone and got some perfect aerial shots of: - The lake - An imposing statue of Padmasambhava - Gurudwara at Rewalsar - Temples and Monasteries You can see all the above in the travel vlog episode series of - Exploring Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Finally at around 2 PM and I left for Shimla. So finishing these stuff fastly we decided to ride back. My friend was supposed to go to Mandi town but I had to leave for Shimla. So, I decided to take a route of Shimla via NER CHOWK. The ride back was pleasant.
