"hello everyone, I hope this finds you all well. I very much appreciate the support that you and others have shown towards my privacy and the privacy of those who have been involved with me following the upload of a certain video needlessly “documenting” my life and sensationalizing my “music career” for the sake of views and subscribers. This unnecessary rehashing of mine and other people’s trauma has disturbed me to no end, but from what I’ve been told the majority reception has been that of logical and respectful mindsets and I sincerely thank you all for that. In a link below, you will find a compilation of songs that have been uploaded to this channel over the last year, loosely curated into a tracklist for the accessibility and convenience of those of you who have been listening to them as Hayden and I have been uploading them, as well as those of you who may find this at a later date and are listening for the first time. This is NOT an official release from me, I have no intentions of promoting, merchandising, or profiting off of this release, and the name “Exilius Bliss” (Ex-ill-Ee-us) is meant to be a standalone release similar to how “Fail Better, Heal Faster” was released, except there is much less of an overarching theme for this release. Included are all of my self-produced songs, as well as most of my sketches with lyrics that have been uploaded to the channel, so sound quality will definitely vary per track, but I hope this doesn’t throw off the listening experience too much. These songs were written and recorded between winter 2017 and very early january of this year, during which I spent most of my time in partly self-imposed exile, cut off from public social media, rarely leaving my room or apartment, and interacting with very few people on a regular basis. In this time, as difficult as it was, I was able to find brief periods of solace and bliss through writing music, not for the sake of promotion and recognition, but purely for myself out of an innate survival instinct that I believe all humans can tap into when pushed to a very steep edge. Within the last month, I have found a lot of these feelings drifting further from my immediate subconscious. I now live with a wonderful friend and partner who has endlessly supported me the last couple months, which has provided me with a much more secure environment to heal in, so this release isn’t really for me, it is for all of you. More than anything, I hope Exilius Bliss can provide you with inspiration to create for yourself in times where emotional survival is paramount to trudging through the day-to-day monotony and subsequent mental brutality that I know many of us go through.
