Cashew Paul's video: Ohio Police K9 Memorial - Paying Tribute to Valued Canine Partners

Join me and pay tribute to our valued canine partners. We visit the Ohio Police K9 Memorial in Amelia, Ohio, located next to the Amelia Village Hall at 119 W. Main St. According to their site: The Ohio Police K9 Memorial pays tribute to the four-legged officers of Ohio who routinely put their lives in jeopardy for little more than a pat on the head. Not only will it honor those K9s that have died in the line of duty, but also those that have retired, passed away or are still serving their communities. Initially, two granite walls bear the names of K9s who have served in the State of Ohio with space allocated for future names. A third will be engraved with the poem “Guardians of the Night.” The centerpiece of the Memorial is a bronze statue by Lena Toritch of Young Fine Studios which has been installed at the Memorial site. The boulder was donated by Auxier. A museum housing K9 equipment and information will accompany the Memorial. We are very excited to build this lasting remembrance of the K9s who have served our communities so well.
