Eizneckam493's video: Lights Out Polus Outpost - Original Music written for Among Us

I'm sure "Among Us" needs no introduction, having swept the internet by storm the last month, but in case you don't know: "Among Us" is a multiplayer deception game for 4-10 people by InnerSloth where you play as intergalactic travelers trying to fix their derelict spacecraft, but there's danger lurking aboard; up to 3 Impostors aim to sabotage the ship, kill the crew, and most importantly get away with it, as an Impostor caught red-handed over a body is subject to being voted out and thrown to their doom. Crewmates must take care, however, to avoid jumping to conclusions and voting out one of their own, making it all too easy for the Impostor to escape and kill again... The resulting experience is quite fun (but not addicting, thank God), and I encourage you to try it out. It has a very tense but still cartoony and silly atmosphere, due to the exaggerated animations and simplistic characters. The game has no music, which helps add to the atmosphere somewhat, but it got me wondering: if the game did have a soundtrack, what would it sound like? Those thoughts led me to create this piece, which I envisioned as the BGM for the snowbound Polus Outpost map. This is my first attempt at writing "scary"/"tense"-style music, so it probably isn't all that accurate. Plus, it didn't quite come out the way I wanted - I kind of wanted those techno-y background noises (like in Corpse Party's OST), but Online Sequencer doesn't have those, so I settled for some toms instead. Anyway, that's it. Fun fact: I believe that this is the first original piece I've uploaded since January of last year. Cool. Among Us belongs to InnerSloth, not me.
