Robinson, Joan Bennett and Dan Durea. Robinson plays a hard-working middle aged man who falls for a manipulative young woman played by Joan Bennett. Her abusive boyfriend Dan Durea helps her deviously use this poor guy until things go a little too far. It's in the public domain and although it's not a very cheerful story, it is one worth checking out.
