QUILICO DRONES's video: GREAT LAKES OF EL CAJAS

The Cajas National Park, source of water and life, was declared at the end of 2002 as Wetland of Importance Ramsar, because it has unique characteristics around the water resource. Its almost 4000 bodies of water convert Cajas National Park into one of the lacustrine systems with the highest concentration of lagoons and ponds in the world; 14 bodies of water for each square kilometer of land. Its depth varies from 68 meters as Luspa lagoon to small bodies of water that are a few centimeters deep. This great concentration of water is the legacy of the last ice age, at the end of the Pleistocene, where the last hundred thousand years became the sculptors of such irregular and whimsical forms of mountains and valleys, as well as the bowls where this originated a bulk of lagoons. Quilico Drones, invites us to this contrasting world of rock, Paramo vegetation and water that in a compendium of colors is painted in the eyes of those who visit it.
