SOUNZ Centre for NZ Music's video: DYLAN LARDELLI: Carrying

@DYLAN LARDELLI: Carrying
DYLAN LARDELLI: Carrying Wrapping up this series of Resound films of new works by New Zealand composers recorded recently in Japan is a work by the series creator and convenor, Dylan Lardelli. Of his ‘Carrying’, for flute and bass recorder, Dylan writes that the music, “moves in a stream of ambiguity of interiors, where both voices share and bear musical duty equally.” The work was commissioned by Tosiya Suzuki, and Eric Lamb in 2017 with funding from Creative New Zealand. It is performed here by Tosiya Suzuki (bass recorder) and Yoshie Ueno (flute). Supported by the New Zealand Japan Exchange Programme, with film editing funded by NZ On Air.
