Vlog on the morning of Day 8 of our 12 Day Bhutan Lingshi-Laya-Gasa Trek. We were pretty exhausted on the morning of day 8, having crossed the Jhari La (4785m) and the Sinche La (5005m) on the previous 2 days. Due to the snow and storm on the day before, all our tents and clothes were drenched so we had a rather unpleasant night at Limithang. But the weather looked better already and we were looking forward to an easier day of 'only' 10km hiking towards the remote village of Laya. Laya lies in the northern end of Bhutan, near the border to China, and is actually a fairly rich village because they collect cordyceps which they sell for a lot of money to China as a herbal remedy to all sorts of life problems!
