Part II ---a wander in the mist but acutely aware of the clearing process to expose the archaeology and encourage tourism to the Iron Age Hill-Fort-----to use the Hill-fort as a tourist attraction-------to kill off the fauna and flora the birds, bats and bees, the mosses and wild flowers that reside here and provide peace---not huge muddy tracks and herds of visitors ......The hill-fort is special in its own right--an ancient site where tribes lived and fought--visited by the Romans and seen from afar in the Somerset landscape and out at sea------a place today under threat......Others video have also been shared of the many walks here over the years and the local museum and quarry also provide artefacts and more detailed information about its history, geology and archaeology. The urgency now is to try and 'Turn the Tide' threatening the wild life here--to halt the destructive clearing process happening like a frenzied attack of hacking , chopping, strimming etc...and inform those that grant tree felling licenses that there are many others that love this hill-fort and do not agree with the deliberate act of deforestation happening....and the tragic loss of beautiful life here
