A cold, but rewarding day, which ended prematurely as the snow began to fall around 3pm. The glamorous, but very expensive Flying Scotsman returned to action in this special event in black undercoat alongside the glamorous City of Wells 34092 in "Golden Arrow" regalia (shame about the blue coaches) and the newly restored LMS Crab 42765 (13065) in LMS Crimson Lake livery. 34092 at Summerseat and Irwell Vale; 103 / 502 Flying Scotsman at Heywood and Irwell Vale; 13065 at Ewood Bridge (twice).
