It is the first train with reserved second seating and AC chair car coaches to be restored in this sector post lockdown. And it is the only intercity type train which skips Barddhaman Jn but halts at small stations enroute. This train was mainly used by MST holders before lockdown. But now only reserved passengers are allowed to travel. But unofficially, MST holders are traveling in all other trains including this one. This train was restored completely from 01 Dec 2020. It has RSA with 02341/42 HWH-ASN-HWH Special, 03011/12 HWH-MLDT-HWH Special, 02337/38 HWH-BHP-HWH Special, 03047/48 HWH-RPH-HWH Special. This train consists 2 CC and 14 2S followed by 2 EOG coaches. This is a "Superfast" class train and the rake belongs to Eastern Railways (ER) and primary maintenance is done at Howrah (HWH). The route of this train is via BWN(chord)-MNAE-PAN-DGR-UDL-RNG-ASN-STN-BRR-KMME. The loco link is HWH WAP-7 from end to end. Total journey distance is 259 Kms and is covered in 04:20 hrs @60 Kmph avg. It departs from HWH daily @17:20 hrs and reaches DHN @21:40 hrs on the same day. This train has total 11 halts in the complete journey.
