@Israeli National Anthem Instrumental Hatikvah הַתִּקְוָה‎ The Hope English Hebrew Translation Lyrics
Israeli National Anthem Instrumental Hatikvah הַתִּקְוָה‎ The Hope with English and Hebrew Translation Lyrics. "Hatikvah" (Hebrew: הַתִּקְוָה‎, English: "The Hope") is the official national anthem of Israel. The lyrics have been adapted from a poem by Naftali Herz Imber written in 1877. The melody can be traced back to La Mantovana, a 16th-century Italian song, and later used by Bedřich Smetana in his set of six symphonic poems celebrating Bohemia, Má vlast ("My homeland"). This in turn was adapted by Samuel Cohen in 1888 to create the current tune for "Hatikvah". Unusually, for a national anthem harmony of Hatikvah is written in a minor scale which gives it a somewhat mournful tone, although the lyrics suggest an optimistic, uplifting, and indeed hopeful mood. The image in the video is an Israeli Flag and is described in the following Wiki: “The flag of Israel was adopted on October 28, 1948, five months after the establishment of the State of Israel. It depicts a blue hexagram on a white background, between two horizontal blue stripes. The blue colour is described as "dark sky-blue", and varies from flag to flag, ranging from a hue of pure blue, sometimes shaded almost as dark as navy blue, to hues about 75% toward pure cyan and shades as light as very light blue. The flag was designed for the Zionist Movement in 1891. The basic design recalls the Tallit, the Jewish prayer shawl, which is white with black or blue stripes. The symbol in the centre represents the Star of David ("Magen David"), a Jewish symbol dating from late medieval Prague, which was adopted by the First Zionist Congress in 1897.” Ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Israel The image shows an Israeli Flag with a slight wave.
