WARM UP THOSE GLUTES🍑🔥‼️ A great pre workout drill to do targeting the Glute Max & Medius👌 ***Banded Hip Thrust vs Abduction *** Was just going to post this without much thought as I figured this exercise spoke for itself. Then I noticed the difference of me acting this out from the beginning to the end....Watch my hips (literally)!👀 ❌ Notice how my hips dip as soon as I reach the top of the thrust? I’m driving through the heels but I lose full contraction at the top when push my knees out for the second part of the drill (abduction) ✅ Make sure hips are in full extension, driving through the heels and glute max is fully contract. Maintaining full contraction then push the knees out getting further tension in the band. The first 4-5 reps I paid no mind to what I was doing. Then focused on a slight hold at the top to actually get something out of this drill. Perfect before a bad ass heavy squat session x 15-20reps x 2 rounds 🏋🏽‍♀️ Save for later! 🎧 The Weeknd - Often (Kygo Remix)🎶
